About KANONYQ
KANONYQ is an independent narrative diagnostics practice run by Thomas Sibelius in Spain. It delivers written structural audits for completed novels, with selected custom work for atypical projects.

The Problem

You've finished your manuscript.
Beta readers say it's "good but something feels off in the middle."
Your critique partner flags pacing issues but can't explain why.
An editor suggests "raising the stakes" without telling you where the current stakes failed.
You're left with impressions, not instructions.

What we do

KANONYQ treats narrative like evidence. We don’t ask “did I like this?” — we ask “does this structurally earn what follows?”
Every scene has a job. Every choice must produce a consequence. Every promise made in Act One must be paid off (or deliberately subverted). When causal chains break, readers disengage — even when they can’t explain why.
About Thomas Sibelius

Thomas Sibelius is the founder of KANONYQ and the creator of the Narrative Forensics framework. Before building KANONYQ, he worked in systems-focused technical environments where diagnosing failure, mapping dependencies, and designing repair protocols were central to the job. KANONYQ applies that same diagnostic discipline to narrative structure. The method is published through Narrative Forensics and through the complete public case studies on this site.
The method is public. Your manuscript stays private.
